There was a sense of The Bend for day 1 of the Bathurst 1000…wet and windy.

It was a great vibe around the Mountain for the final round of the Ryco Enduro Cup. The event of the year was ready to see track action including 2 practice sessions from Supercars. Cars hit the track to a consistent sprinkle of rain throughout Mount Panorama for what was lap by lap on a knifes edge.

As the cars rolled out, it was red flagged due to a timing issue.A short 5 minute stop ensued before cars hit the track again.

The red flag flew again when Mostert hit the tyre barrier in turn 2, which required a bit of a clean up before green flag running resumed.

Practice 1

Car #6 Waters/Winterbottom: 21st

Car #55 Randle/Moffat: 17th

Car #5 Gray/Dalton: 18th

The second practice session only ran for a few laps for Car6 and 55 in a co-driver only session. The session was inconsistent with weather around the circuit and the team voided any running to reduce risk and burning wet tyres in dry areas.

The practice sessions today have been about testing set ups withinCar 6, 55 and 5. With the rain around there was little reason to send the cars out when it was not going to deliver valuable data.

Practice 2

Car #6 Waters/Winterbottom: 9th

Car #55 Randle/Moffat: 10th

Car #5 Gray/Dalton: 16th

The Dunlop crew experienced similar conditions with both sessions being held up through red flags.

The team were able to bank some valuable laps in practice 1.The team now shift their focus to an early morning qualifying session before the Top 5 shootout, a session we hope to see all four Tickford Autosport drivers in.

PRACTICE 1

Car #222 Nash Morris : 16th

PRACTICE 2

Car #55 Rylan Gray: 20th
