Tickford Racing is happy to confirm that Cameron Waters and Thomas Randle will remain with the team for the 2026 Supercars Championship season, having both signed a two-year contract with an additional one-year option that cements their place in Tickford’s future.
Waters having been with the team for eleven years, and Randle for seven years, marks the signing of both drivers a significant step forward for the team and the sport. Waters and Randle have shown impressive form on the track so far this season and this renewed commitment ensures continued stability and competitiveness for Tickford Racing as the Gen3 era evolves.
“This is a massive moment for Tickford,” said CEO Simon Brookhouse. “Locking in Cam and Thomas for the next two seasons gives us consistency, leadership, and talent behind the wheel. Both drivers are integral to our performance strategy, and their commitment reinforces the direction we’re heading as a team. To keep this formidable driving combination together for the next two years places our team in a position of strength to have a two-fold attack at winning both the Drivers and Teams Championships.”
These deals continue to strengthen Tickford’s long-standing alignment with Ford and underlines the team’s focus on long term success both on the track and in the championship.
Team Owner Rod Nash added: “We’ve built a strong foundation with both Cam and Thomas. They’re fast, smart, and understand what it means to race for Tickford. This gives us the chance to keep building and racing at the front for years to come.
I’ve known these two ‘peas in a pod’ for some time, and the intensity of their passion and commitment to strive forward— with their competitive edge — is a great asset for our team. They are great mates to me, to each other, and together, on and off the track, they represent the Supercars sport in a very professional manner.
With eighteen years collectively between them as part of the Tickford Racing Team, this consistency is what you need to be a winner.”
Cameron Waters:
“Tickford has been home for a long time, and I’m stoked to lock in the next phase of my career. We’ve got unfinished business and I’m ready to keep pushing for wins and the championship. I’ve got an amazing team around me and to be working with them and Tom for another two seasons will be great, we’ve got a strong dynamic and I’m looking forward to the next few years”
Thomas Randle:
“I am super excited to be announcing today that I am re-signing with Tickford for 2026 & 2027, Tickford is where I got my start not only in Super 2 but also in the Supercars Championship. We have done some pretty cool things in the last few years, had some great results together and I can’t wait to continue this journey with Cam alongside me as well. We’ve known each other for such a long time and had some pretty cool moments on and off the track together, I am looking forward to seeing what’s in store for the both of us in the future with Tickford Racing”
Fans can catch Waters and Randle continue fighting for the Championship this weekend at the next round of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship in Perth.
