Tickford Racing is excited to be working with current team sponsor Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) on a data collecting exercise on the Gold Coast this week.

The GMG team will be adding their Graphene Enhanced engine oil additive, G-LUBRICANT® to the Tickford DAF Prime Mover engine oil.

‍

The focus for this collaboration is to collect data to show the efficiency gains made possible by the use of G-LUBRICANT® in a large prime mover. This data will also allow Tickford to analyse and improve on their operational fuel efficiency.

‍

Our main game transporter covers over 40,000km in the DAF XG+ prime mover each year, with an approximate 55+ tonne load in tow to and from each event.

‍

Providing this data source for GMG will allow continued optimisation of their product, as well as providing another real world test of the additives impact.  

‍

GMG are a business based in Queensland, producing graphene in-house and developing a range out products including commercial coatings, lubricant additives, battery materials and long-term energy-storage work.

‍

The G-LUBRICANT® that will be added to the DAF prime mover is a product that aims to save fuel and extends engine life – a graphene-enhanced oil additive that reduces friction and restores worn engine surfaces.

‍

The transporter will travel with a data collection device that will set the base line from Melbourne to Gold Coast before the G-LUBRICANT® product is added and tracked on the drive home.

‍

Working with this collaboration is also team sponsors PacLease and Castrol who are closely aligned on the project undertaken this week. PacLease currently run Castrol through their prime mover fleet and both partners have been welcoming of GMG and their additive to track improvements on efficiency with this exercise.
