We know that what we do doesn’t happen without a team and that was exactly what was on display in all Tickford garages today.

‍

We rolled into the morning with the Autosport Program running on very little sleep. The crew worked until about 3:30am before heading back to their accommodation and sleeping before a 6:30am arrival.

‍

The efforts of the team meant we had 4 drivers in the top ten after the mornings qualifying session. A feat not possible without the work put in by all in the Autosport team last night.

‍

DUNLOP QUALIFYING RACE 2

#5 Reuben Goodall: 6th

#6 Ben Gomersall: 2nd

#55 Campbell Logan: 7th

#56 Nash Morris: 5th ‍

‍

As the Race rolled around, it was a mega effort by Morris off the line.

‍

All other drivers got away cleanly, limping around the 30 minute session with a few parts that were not completely straight, but good enough to take on The Mountain and the final race of the Dunlop Series Weekend.

‍

Coming away with four cars in the top seven is a mega effort for everyone that deserves the biggest applause. It’s a good bank of points and Nash walks away with a Round podium finish which is a fantastic result in his hunt for Championship standings.

‍

We pick up theirs season again in Sandown in a months time.

‍

DUNLOP SERIES RACE 2

#5 Reuben Goodall: 5th

#6 Ben Gomersall: 7th

#55 Campbell Logan: 6th

#56 Nash Morris: 4th

‍

For VCS, we knew the day did not hold a Top 10 shootout, but we utilised the time to run everything we could across the two practice sessions.

‍

Strong first practice of the day set the tone for a chance to find something before the end of the day.

‍

Rolling out for the final practice, a double yellow flag down the back straight checked up a couple of cars and unfortunately Frosty was hit in the rear.

‍

The damaged car returned to pit lane and once again we saw the team jump into action across both sides of the garage to fix it.

‍

The bar was removed, and a new one was applied as the car was sent back out in amazing time to allow the engineers to run as much of their plan as they could.

‍

All in all, we are disappointed to not be in the shootout, but we know we are facing 161 laps on Sunday and we will build a strong car for that.

‍

SUPERCARS PRACTICE FIVE

#6 Waters/Winterbottom: 7th

#55 Randle/Goodall: 9th

‍

SUPERCARS PRACTICE SIX

#6 Waters/Winterbottom: 6th

#55 Randle/Goodall: 11th

‍

We return to the track tomorrow early to kick off the drivers parade and get started in the great race. See you tomorrow race fans!
