It never ceases to amaze just how fast the Supercars seasons go and 2026 is no exemption.
As we return from Tasmania and have a few weeks off before heading north, it is a good time to step back and take stock of the season so far.
2026 kicked off strongly across all departments of our business. We held the Teams Championship lead and secured podiums for both drivers in the main game before New Zealand, with solid race pace in the car.
The Autosport Program delivered strong results when they started their season in Sydney, also scoring a couple of podiums before they went into the big break.
Back at the workshop, the Engineering team were busy putting together TR-33 as part of the new category approved chassis manufacturing program at Tickford. A significant achievement by everyone involved, during what was already a big workload leading into the year.

The Championship is incredibly close, which is fantastic for the fans and the show these amazing athletes put on each round. But when two tenths in qualifying can mean starting third or fifteenth, it is incredibly frustrating for our team and drivers with such a fine margin.
The team were feeling positive with the results leading into New Zealand, but we knew that the field was not far behind in matching us and ultimately there needed to be more speed found in the cars.
There’s no hiding that New Zealand and Tasmania did highlight a small drop in consistency that we showed at the start of the year. Unfortunately, we struggled to find the right window for both car 6 and 55 across the three rounds.
Like any organisation, when you are chasing improvement, everyone steps up to another level to find solutions that can be implemented.
It goes without saying our team are digging deeper than ever to look at what can be extracted from both cars, and Waters and Randle have been a close part of the process since Tasmania to turn the form around.
As we build to Darwin we also welcome back the Autosport program to a race weekend with all four drivers completing their test day at Winton just last week.
It was also a great feeling to announce the 2026 Wildcard Program that features two of our very own Autosport drivers in Reuben Goodall and Ben Gomersall.
Both athletes are very deserving of this opportunity, and the team are throwing their full support behind the program to ensure they get the most out of their Gen3 debut.
The engineering team continue to go from strength to strength as they consistently supply the category and other disciplines with such well renowned pieces of work.
From steering racks to cool boxes, there is nothing that appears to be a challenge for the team at the Campbellfield workshop They continue to develop new ideas and work with our incredible partner network on developing global products for a range of markets.

Our focus for all facets of Tickford Racing is locked on executing to the best of our ability over the upcoming rounds on and off the track.
As we head north, the engineers continue to extract all they can from the past few rounds in unlocking the cars full potential. All six drivers continue to better themselves away from the track whether it’s at the workshop reviewing data with their engineer, on the sim or at the gym.
We will always continue to back our own team and the drivers that get behind the wheel each round. The turning point for the season is right around the corner and Darwin is the best opportunity to hit the track to execute that.
To all our valued partners, members and fans, we thank you for the support you have continued to show us throughout this year.
Our goal is always continuous improvement as we strive for absolute excellence ensuring we are trying to be better than our last result. As a team we are totally focused and invested in turning around the current form to be back on that top step.
We can’t wait to see you all at the track in the near future.
