R&D Technician | Campbellfield, VIC | Full Time - Negotiable

Tickford Engineering is an engineering services and precision manufacturing operation in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. We are part of the Tickford group that includes Tickford Racing in Australian Supercars.

‍

Due to growth in our business, we are looking for a skilled technician to join our team.

‍

The role requires an individual that can function and perform in a dynamic industry working alongside an experienced team of professionals in the motorsport industry.

‍

Duties include, but are not limited to:

‍

- Assembly, service and inspection of precision mechanical and hydraulic components.

- Interpret R&D test bench data as part of Quality Control (Currently Motec i2).

- Interpret engineering drawings & perform QC measurement of critical components.

- Co-ordinate project timelines with engineering, production and procurement.

- Liaise with external clients regarding project deliverables.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

‍

- Prior experience in motorsport in a relevant role e.g. Subassembly, Hydraulics, Powertrain etc.

- Hands on experience in precision assembly, inspection and fault diagnosis.

- Capable of setting & working to project timelines to achieve set deliverables.

- Ability to self-manage workload and operate with minimal supervision.

- Ability to work in a team environment and in a professional manner.
