The drivers kicked off the day with a driver signing session at the garages, with countless Supercars and F1 fans showing up to get their items autographed with the boys.

It is incredible to see the support for the team here this weekend as well as welcoming F1 fans to the fold and getting their glimpse ofSupercars action.

Safe to say post the signing session today there is a clear favourite out on track in the F1 field with a sea of Papaya littering theSupercars garages throughout the day.

Whilst they may not be on track, the boys are still incredibly busy at the AGP this weekend.

We are incredibly lucky to align with many key partners that are connected to F1 and the boys repay that gratitude by visiting suites and teams throughout the weekend to catch up with them all.

Once the tours and meetings were done, it was time for the boys to dive into pre-brief and prepare for what was a difficult starting position in the short race.

They both knew there was a lot of work to do, but with the changes made overnight and a mindset of anything can happen, the boys rolled out onto the track to begin Race 5 as the sun began to set.

The race started very similar to yesterday, with cars fanning out 3 or 4 wide as the head toward turn 1 where the position of the car is critical.

Randle was hot on the back of Waters in the early stages, with Waters clearing a lot of the bumper to bumper action and settling in midway through lap 1.

Little did we know we were in for some of the fierce tracking we have seen so far this year, as moves were made, rightly or wrongly, and the chaos that ensued from it was something you did not want to miss.

Both Waters and Randle were clean in missing the chaos, executing moves as the race entered its early phases.

As cars were turned, penalites were handed out the boys found some good race pace that continued to mark overtaking opportunities mid-way through the race.

Both drivers had made up 4 spots over the race with them both catching the cars in front. Small moments of tyre management were needed on both sides of the garage but that was not stopping them both as they were able to collect some more positions on track.

Consistency and improvements were the key for the race and it is safe to say both boys executed that perfectly as the chequered flag fell on Race 5.

The clean racing, avoiding the incidents and improving race pace was key for us moving back to second in the teams championship at the end of the day.

We return to Day 3 with early qualifying for Race 6 and 7, with the penultimate Race in the late afternoon.
