Track action kicked off on Thursday at the Mountain with an early morning Dunlop Series Practice.
The sun was out and conditions were dry across the 6.2km circuit and it didn’t take long for the Autosport team to hit their straps.
Drivers were testing the waters early and finding the limit which was the aim of the day for all main game and DS2 drivers after 12 months between laps at The Mountain.
All four sessions for Tickford were run clean and without issues, we know this weekend is long for both programs and no one wins on Thursday.
DUNLOP SERIES PRACTICE ONE
#5 Reuben Goodall: 10th
#6 Ben Gomersall: 4th
#55 Nash Morris: 2nd
#56 Campbell Logan: 8th
DUNLOP SERIES PRACTICE TWO
#5 Reuben Goodall: 5th
#6 Ben Gomersall: 1st
#55 Nash Morris: 2nd
#56 Campbell Logan: 8th
New cars for Gomersall and Logan who hit The Mountain in 2026 in different machinery, the boys took both sessions to feel the differences in the cars but hit their marks well by the time their day came to an end.
For the main game guys, they dabbled in different levels of pace across their two sessions as duties were shared with both drivers.
Main drivers tackled Practice One, whilst the Co-Driver’s took over for the second session.
VCS PRACTICE 1
#6 Waters/Winterbottom: 4th
#55 Randle/Goodall: 7th
VCS PRACTICE 2
#6 Waters/Winterbottom: 18th
#55 Randle/Goodall: 21st
We get into the real things tomorrow with qualifying for both programs, kicking off at 9:00am
