As the chequered flag fell at the end of Race 34, it also marked the end of the 2025 season.

With Melbourne-like weather thrown around the Adelaide street Circuit today, it was a chaotic start to the day with the track starting to dry but also exhibiting heavy wet spots.

Most cars, including #6, #55 and #5 rolled out on wets for a sighting lap, but all then dived back into the pits to switch to slicks and gamble the pace benefit that came from putting them on.

We returned to green flag running for a couple of laps, before it was interrupted by a red flag after a car lost a wheel at turn 8.

Whilst the cars returned to the lane, just a bit over 3 minutes was left on the clock to set a time to get through to the next part of qualifying.

As the cars all pulled out of the lane and made their way around to start their lap, it was a collective holding of breath as the three cars started their last flyer.

Randle went P1 momentarily, Waters only punched into P15 and it was a nervous watch as the rest of the cars finished their laps.

Cindric found himself above the cut line as he crossed under the chequered flag, another incredible effort from the NASCAR Cup driver who continues to improve session by session over the weekend.

The track continued to improve as the remaining cars finished their flying laps, Waters and Cindric fell below the cut line in what was a hard result to swallow after high hopes were around heading into the day.

RACE 34 QUALIFYING RESULTS

#6 Cam Waters:

#55 Thomas Randle

#5 Austin Cindric

We then turned to the Dunlop Series as they lined up on the grid for their second race of the weekend.

It was fantastic to see the team, the drivers, their families all part of celebrating a big 2025 in the garage and looking to end on a high in Race 2.

With the cancelled second qualifying on Friday, a combined Practice result set the grid meaning all 4 drivers were starting a few rows back in the field.

As the race started, it was clear all the battles were going to be fierce as the young grid took off into turn 1.

It was 30+ minutes of stressful situations as we had team mates bouncing off each other and stellar overtakes as the 2025 Dunlop grid gave a show for the fans.

Toward the end of the race, Goodall unfortunately missed the marker on the turn into turn 8 and found the wall with heavy contact. The incident brought out the yellow flags and a slight reprieve for the drivers who had been seriously battling for a long time.

Regardless of finishing positions in the final race, all the team came together to celebrate what has been such a dominant season in the Tickford Autosport camp.

DUNLOP SERIES RACE 2 RESULTS

#5 Reuben Goodall:

#6 Lochie Dalton

#55 Rylan Gray

#222 Nash Morris

We then switched back to Supercars as the final race of the season rolled around.

Drivers were ready to go out and stay away from the chaos and drive through the pack to give our members, partners and fans a chance to celebrate a big year.

Once the lights went out, the drivers managed to stay clear of the mess to a degree.

Waters got heavy contact on the rear of the car which caused slight diffuser damage and hindered his speed for the remainder of the 250km race.

Cindric started well navigating a 3 wide entry into turn 1 which for even the most seasoned drivers is a sketchy way to start a race.

Randle cleared a couple of cars early and benefited from some poor overtake monouvers that caused some cars to get caught up.

From there it was clean running for all 3 cars as they swapped positions throughout the race and made ground in their own way.

RACE 34 RESULTS

#6 Cam Waters: 12th

#55 Thomas Randle: 9th

#5 Austin Cindric: 21st

A full driver debrief and commentary to come.
