It was another testing day for everyone across main game and Dunlop Series with 30_degrees and 80% humidity in the air.

There is a real credit to the drivers and the crew for what they have worked on to get to this point today. From prep at the start of the season, to the 2 days of testing and then 3 brutally hot days of track action, it has required everyone to be on from the moment they arrive until they leave.

First up was Dunlop and the Autosport program rolling out for their second qualifying of the weekend. As per the same rules yesterday, all support categories, inluding Dunlop Series, would run the smaller Druitt course to keep the works done on turn 8 in tact.

Late yesterday and into this morning, the team were busy tweaking some technical and mechanical gremlins that hindered the performance yesterday. But, it was clear that was no issue, with all 4 drivers being up the charts even more in the hot qualifying session, holding their own throughout the timed period from start to finish.

DUNLOP SERIES RACE ONE

#5 Reuben Goodall: 4th

#6 Ben Gomersall: 3rd

#55 Nash Morris: 8th

#56 Campbell Logan: 2nd

The team then swealtered in garage 55 and 6 as the preparations begun for the final qualifying runs of the weekend in main game.

From the start, both cars rolled out for a sighting lap before pulling in for new boots and running 2 timed laps in part 1 of the session. Thomas was on the money early executing 2 strong laps that had him in the top 10 only to just fall out to 11th when the chequered flag fell.

Waters was not able to get the tyres in the window and bowed out of qualifying at the first hurdle.

When it came to part 2, again Randle was again on the money delivering 2 strong laps that held him within the 10 finishing 4th overall in part 2.

Randle, now 2/2 for Top 10 Shootout qualifying in 2026, rolled out on used tyres whilst most of the field had a green set. The team and Randle were happy with his time, with green tyres he would have been around the mark of the top drivers.

SUPERCARS QUALIFYING

#6 Cam Waters: 20th

#55 Thomas Randle: 9th

Then came arguably one of the most heated races of the weekend as the Dunlop series set off in 30+ degree conditions around the short circuit.

Logan suffered a slightly difficult start which was the complete opposite of Morris who charged off the line to be in the top 4 by turn 2. Gomersall and Goodall held good starting lines and charged through behind the leader. Sydney offers an incredibly difficult first few turns so to stick it 2 wide is very dangerous no matter what category.

Early Logan was pushed wide on mulstiple occastions which dropped him back in the field slight.y Cars did pick up penalites but it did not amke it easy for him as he was turning his car to a lawnmower down the main steaight

With a safety car deployed for a beached car, it was a moment to take a break and get the tyres back to a comfortable position for them remaining 10 minutes of the race. Nash picked up a 5 second pentaly for overtaking Goodall before the control line on the restart.

With plenty of bashing and banging throughout the field, the clsoing stages. of the race were a chance to keep clean running and finish the sesion.

DUNLOP SERIES RACE TWO

#5 Reuben Goodall: 4th

#6 Ben Gomersall: 2nd

#55 Nash Morris: 3rd

#56 Campbell Logan: 7th

A big congratulations to the Autosport team who collected 3 podiums and a round podium over the Sydney 500 weekend. The team will be back on track in Darwin come the middle of the year.

The final race of the opening round started under the evening sun at Sydney Motorsport Park, with both drivers eyes forward on closing the weekend on a high.

Off the line, Randle was pushed wide and as mentioned earlier, struggled for grip as he went 2 wide into turns 1 and 2. Waters was slightly blocked initially but over the course of 3-4 laps had jumped to 11th on the timing charts.

Both cars settled into a good rythym and the window for a put stop was able to be delivered as planned with both cars getting 4 tyres and fuel to push into the next segment of the race.

With banging of doors going on around the circuit, Waters continued to deliver overtake and overtake on cars in the field without harm or any questions marks.

Randle was in the heat of the battle as he chased some cars down in front and those behind managing some better tyres in the stint.

Through sheer determination Waters continued to pick off the field making his way through to 4th on the grid. A highlight of this session was he had jumped 15 positions from his oringinal starting spot, the largst on the whole field.

Randle wasn't able to get the car in the window post his second stop and begun some really tight battles and timing as the race came to a close. His fight was a true bounce back after a difficult Saturday and a show to thefield that regardless of his position he will fight to make sure the points scored are strong.

Through the closing laps, Penrite unfortunately suffered a mechanical issues that pulled Allen out of 3rd and had Cam in place for a podium. Managing a gap of just under 1 second, he continued to deliver lap after lap to hold his line and finish on the podium for the first time in 2026.

SUPERCARS RACE

#6 Cam Waters: 3rd

#55 Thomas Randle: 8th

We leave NSW being the leader in the teams championship and taking the #1 garage as we did 12 months agp. The team will take the chance to get back to Melbourne in the next couple of days in preparation of a huge AGP on the cars.

A final thank you to every member, partner and fan that was at the track this weekend. After a huge lead up from everyone within the team, it goes a long way to see so much new merchandise be purchased and proudly on display around the circuit. The results today and over the week are a testament to that support and we cannot wait to see those joining us for AGP in a couple of weeks time.
