A day of practice sessions for the team with all drivers getting plenty of laps behind the wheel

Practice one was strong for the team with Car 55 setting the second fastest time of the session and Car 6 not too far behind in fourth.
Both Waters and Randle set those times early in the session before we saw some light rain come late.
Dalton delivered a strong time in 21st which saw improvement over the whole session. His best time coming on lap 6 of his 7 total.

The second practice was a co-driver only session for the 27-car field.
Another positive session for all 3 cars, hovering in the top10 for most of the 20 minute practice.
It was the first full practice session back in a Mustang for Winterbottom in over 2000 days and it was a strong finish in 10th in car 6.
There was a small trip through the grass for Moffat at the midpoint, but he recovered well a lap later to deliver his fastest time of the session on his final fast lap securing 8th.
Rylan showed great times throughout the session in what continues to be great learning opportunities in the Gen3 Mustang. He was just bumped late as the final cars crossed the line and finished 14th.

The sun went away as cold winds ripped through Tailem Bend for the final practice session of the day.
Main drivers stepped back in for this session to find those extra tenths and set up changes that were worked on in the first couple of sessions.
Randle and Waters led the way for Ford in the final session, finishing 3rd and 4th respectively as the chequered flag fell.
Gray jumped into car for the final laps of the session to bring the car home in 16th in what was a great hit out for the Wildcard car on Friday.
The team will take a big day of learning away and continue to tweak the cars ready for the weekend. It was a day of positives throughout each session for all 3 cars as we prepare for qualifying on Saturday.
