Straight out of the gates, Waters and Randle punched positive laps within the top 10, whilst Gray led the wildcard entries in the midfield.
The times Car 6 and Car 55 put on the board were hard to beat as the rest of the field completed their first qualifying laps.

As the field went out and begun the final fast lap, Waters begun with a fastest sector 1 of the session, whilst Randle achieved a personal best. As they crossed the line, both drivers finished in the 10 and progressed to the Top 10 Shootout.
Gray continued to fight throughout the session, delivering afinal lap that wasn’t able to improve from his fastest in qualifying. Gray andDalton will start at the back of the field for the 500km race.
