Bathurst week is here and the team are geared up and en-route to The Mountain!

‍

The great race is an event that spans generations, no matter who you ask about the event, everyone has a story whether its watching in person or on the couch at home.

‍

For many within the team, this is not their first trip to Mount Panorama but it’s still just as special each time they come back.

‍

The racing speaks for itself, and with our drivers tackling the mountain a few times, they know the respect it deserves for 161 laps.

‍

As we head into the big week, there is plenty on for the drivers before we get to Practice One on Thursday morning.

‍

DRIVER SCHEDULE

‍

There are plenty of positive signs coming out of The Bend, unfortunately the weather plagued the plan we had running into the race. The West Circuit threw plenty at our six drivers, but all of them did an incredible job to manage what they could from the cars.

‍

Although, to leave there with positive dry running data is what we will use to build into this weekend. Across the six practice sessions, the team will look to execute their plans and runs as best they can whilst getting plenty of seat time for the co-drivers.

‍

Whilst Waters, Randle and Winterbottom head back to Bathurst with a few race starts under their belt, there will be a lot of support for Reuben who tackles it for the first time in a Gen3 Supercar.

‍

Goodall has driven the circuit in a Gen2 as part of the Autosport Program, but Sunday at 11:30am is a whole different ball game. He performed incredibly well at The Bend, as did all the drivers, and the team got around him to support that effort.

‍

We also welcome back the Autosport Program as they kick off their back half of their season. The drivers have done an incredible job to date managing to keep the team at the top end of the standings in both drivers and teams championships.

‍

For those that will be on the ground - see you at The Mountain!

Excited to be heading back to The Mountain with Frosty and chasing a spot on that top step with him come Sunday afternoon.

‍

The Bend had plenty of positives to come out of it and we have used that in the preparation and planning for this week.

‍

I’ll be out there pushing as hard as the car allows me whilst making sure I respect the mountain as we know how hard it can hit back. We will just take each session as it comes and make sure we go into Sunday with a really good car.

‍

I cant wait to see all the fans and what they get up to, especially with the sights you see across the top of the mountain as they never disappoint

Bathurst is always incredibly special no matter how many times you go. I look forward to it every year and to be doing it again with Tickford and Cam is great as we have developed a really strong partnership over the last 12 months.

‍

The conditions at The Bend were next level but once the track dried out the car did start to come alive, so there were positive signs that we take into this week. The body is feeling really strong and prepared heading into this year’s Bathurst and the drive is there more than ever to get back on that top step once again with the team.

‍

We know we have a strong car that is ready to tackle the mountain and there is strong belief in the game plan we are taking in, the focus is just going session by session executing what we need to as a team

‍

It’s a week that really needs no introduction but to be heading back to The Mountain is incredibly special and I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel.

‍

Conditions at The Bend made for a difficult opener to kick off our Enduro Cup, but Reuben and the team did an incredible job in some insane weather. We know that the car was strong in the dry running, so we will take that momentum into this week and look to execute day by day.

‍

Our chase for a spot in the Finals is still very much on and we know what we need to do to make sure we give ourselves the best chance to make the cutoff. Cant wait to get into town and get the big week started!

‍

To be kicking off this week and only being a few days away from making my Bathurst 1000 debut is a really special moment in my career.

‍

The Bend was some of the trickiest conditions that I have raced in to date, but I left the weekend with plenty of positives and some things to work on so I have used that to drive my preparation for this week.

‍

Juggling double duties across main game and DS2 will be difficult no doubt, but I know the team will be in my corner to support me through it. Excited to get amongst all the action and fans this week for the biggest race of the year.
