We kick the season off with 6 cars making the journey from Campbellfield to Eastern Creek as both Supercars and Dunlop Series kick their season off this Friday.

The off season has been nothing short of busy for everyone at the Campbellfield factory as 6 cars were stripped and restored ready for this week.

As you have heard and seen over the past 6 months, we have finalised there-shaping of the business that we set out to do to gain a greater commercialised aspect for all the Tickford Racing opportunities it currently has.

Aside from the race weekend, we head to Sydney early as this Wednesday marks the first shakedown of our Mustangs that will challenge the 2026 Supercars Championship for Waters and Randle.

We will also see the debut of Ben Gomersall and Campbell Logan in Tickford Autosport colours come Friday afternoon. The program heads to Sydney looking to back up their strong 2025 form in which we won the Drivers Championship, Teams Championship, Pole Award and most Podiums.

With last minute test day changes, it is still a full focused team internally looking to optimise the track time and the shakedown of the cars we will run in 2026. Split over 2 sessions, it will be valuable running to see the cars perform under lights ready for the weekend's schedule.

We are excited to see all the fans back at the track in what is going to be a big 2026 for the team.

TICKFORD RACING DRIVER COMMENTS

Car #6 Driver, Cam Waters said:

Heading to Sydney for Round 1 is fantastic as we get to try and replicate what the team did here last year.

We felt like we threw everything at the 2025 season but knew that we needed more consistent results to be fighting with a chance in Adelaide and that’s the main goal for this year.

The break for me has been good with a good switch off period and I was able to escape Melbourne for a little bit to reset. The lead into this year with my training has put myself in a window that I am really happy with and the recent 12 hour has helped tune it up just that bit more.

I cannot wait to be back in the Monster Energy Mustang and give the fans something to cheer about to kick off the Supercars year.

Car #55 Driver, Thomas Randle said:

It’s great to be heading into Round 1 and get behind the wheel of the #55 Castrol Racing Mustang again.

The off season has been a balance of enjoying the break but also heavy training and jumping into some dirt racing earlier this year at Avalon. I feel fantastic with my fitness and prep as we head to Race 1 on Friday night.

The team have put in a huge amount of work in preparation for this year and we will be doing all we can to ensure we achieve more consistent results as we head into the Sprint Cup.

It will be amazing to see all the fans again this year around the country and especially this weekend.
