We came into the track ready to tackle the big day of thesuper sprint format, with two qualifying’s and two races ahead for the team.
Christchurch was showing its best as the sun shined down on the3.33 km Ruapuna Circuit. Rolling out for qualifying, the boys were laserfocused on trying to improve from Friday’s times.
Whilst there were improvements in both lap time and setup, the field also made incremental improvements.
It waws a mere matter of 100ths of a tenth that kept Watersout of the ten with Randle not too far behind either
QUALIFYING RACE 11
#6 Cam Waters: 11th
#55 Thomas Randle: 13th
Unfortunately for the second qualifying, there wasadjustments made on the 55 that just made the car fall further outside thewindow.
Both drivers have really strong sectors throughout thetrack, but the points that fall away hurt more than we are hoping at the moment.

#55 Thomas Randle: 21st
With the focus now shifting to the race, the team knew therewas a stronger race package than what we had in qualifying.
Keeping the racing clean, settling into a rhythm and finding the difficult Offthe line, both drivers started well jumping a position in the early stages.
Unfortunately during Randles stop and there was an issue with the wheel nut that caused some delays.

The evening brought a strong headwind down the straight aswe lined up on the gird for the final race of the day.
As the race started, Waters made a dive to the inside afterjumping well and the inside line proved to be dominant leaping 2 spots in theearly stages.
Once the chaos settled and Randle appeared from the dust outthe back of the track, he had also made up a couple of places from the rear ofthe grid.
