Tickford Racing Australia, an elite team in the Supercars Championship has an opening for a CNC Machinist Programmer & Machinist.

The opportunity requires an individual that can function and perform in a highly competitive industry working alongside an experienced team of professionals in the motorsport industry.

‍

The role is to be offered on a Full-Time basis with the terms negotiable depending on the applicants needs and requirements.

‍

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manufacture aluminium and steel components from 3D CAD models

• Interpret engineering drawings and work within stated tolerances

• Maintain high level of workplace safety

• Set machines and run programs on CNC equipment

‍

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Experience using UG NX or Mastercam would be desired but not mandatory

• Prior experience working with DMG Mori machines in a mill turn capacity is desirable

• Setting and carrying out CNC programs

• Ability to work in a team environment and independently

‍

The candidate must have a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work under minimal supervision and in a professional manner.

‍

You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

‍

Hourly rate and terms will be negotiated with candidate taking into consideration prior industry experience.
